Here we provide the facility to search for information on a particular product or subject. either on our own website or on the world wide web.

Use the form below to search for documents on our website containing specific words. The text search engine will display a weighted list of matching documents, with better matches shown first. Each list item is a link to a matching document; if the document has a title it will be shown, otherwise only the document's file name is displayed. A brief explanation of the query language is given below.

The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses:

All search results will contain this word.

not word

 : 

The search results will not contain this word.

word1 or word2

 : 

The search results will contain one or more of the words (the 'or' is optional).

word1 and word2

 : 

The search results will contain both of the words.

(word1 not word2)
 and word3

 : 

Word groups can be combined with parentheses.

wor*

 : 

The search results will contain words starting with 'wor'

 
Internet Search
 


Use the form below to search for documents on the world wide web containing specific words. The search engine will display a list of results with the title of the page, a text excerpt that describes the page, and the URL of the page. By clicking on the title, you will be directed to the web site.

By default, ten search results are listed on each page. Navigation links are located at the bottom of each section to help you move through multiple pages of results.

At the top of the results section, you can click on the link, "Title Only" to remove the text excerpts and the URL from each result. A brief explanation of the query language is given below.

Query Language

A search query is generally a combination of words, but you can also use the following special characters to further refine the search:

word

All search results will contain this word.

+word

 : 

All search results will contain this word. Equates to a boolean AND

-word

 : 

The search results will not contain this word. Equates to a boolean NOT

"word1 word2"

 : 

You can group several words by putting quotes around them, defining a phrase

(word1 word2)

 : 

The search results will contain one or more of the words. Equates to a boolean OR. Note: Only one level of parenthesis may be used
