Model GPA-0001
is a low cost general purpose MMIC amplifier which
can be assembled in a number of configurations.
When
you need a low cost tailored amplifier in a hurry, our GPA-0001
series fits the bill! The GPA series consists of a generic
configuration amplifier module designed to take full advantage
of the wide range of 50ohm MMIC gain blocks available from
numerous manufacturers. Able to accept a variety of x-pack
devices and having integral input and output pi-attenuators and
voltage dropper resistor, the amplifiers can be made to suit
virtually any application. A large selection of standard units
can be supplied, or send us your requirement if we don’t list
what you need.
Need
an amplifier quickly for development? Not quite sure what your
final requirement will be? No time to design your own hardware
or PCB? Or you simply want something inexpensive! - The GPA-0001
is also available in kit form which includes CNC machined
aluminium enclosure with mounting holes, cover, bare PCB, SMA connectors,
feedthru filter and all assembly hardware. Just populate the PCB
to your own requirements! What’s more, all piece-parts are
available separately as spares including enclosure and PCB. The
kit comes with a comprehensive applications sheet (including
assembly details, calculations for the voltage dropper resistor
and tables for input/output pi-attenuator resistor values) and a
copy of Teledyne Microelectronics “RF Toolbox” freeware
program for calculating your amplifier components and
specification.
All
in all, the GPA series of amplifiers provide a simple,
cost-effective solution for your everyday amplifier needs.
