General Description

Model SFP-1045 Slimline Fan Panel has been designed to address the requirement for an economical alternative to complete fan trays for cooling in 19” equipment racks. The unit integrates several important functions into in a single convenient lightweight panel assembly that can be installed in seconds.   The basic model consists of a 3mm thick aluminium panel supporting six high-airflow 40mm fans. Power is supplied by a switch mode power supply unit mounted on a bracket behind the panel. This SMPSU has a universal AC mains input permitting worldwide operation while the high-efficiency design means that minimum additional heat is introduced into the rack environment; furthermore it complies with all major European safety standards and is totally encapsulated for maximum safety in the open design. A centrally mounted power switch is provided on the panel with integral neon AC power indicator, along with a safety mount fuse holder. Finger guards are fitted for protection of personnel while snap-fit intake dust filters are provided that can be replaced quickly for ease of service.   The panel has a light grey hard baked powder paint finish and the whole assembly carries a two year warranty on all parts including PSU. Special requirements can be accommodated including reduced fan count for less demanding applications, low noise fans for noise-sensitive environments and variable rate thermal sensing fans.   For further details on specification, special options and packaging, please see overleaf.
