IFD-1001/XXX

VHF Intermediate Frequency Distribution Unit

The IFD-1001 is a VHF wideband IF Distribution Unit designed to provide multiple buffered signal outputs from a single input with a nominal 0dB gain. Applications typically include the distribution of a single receiver IF output to various signal processing and analysing equipment, or the coupling of multiple VHF receivers to a single antenna. The emphasis of the design is on providing high performance and configurability at low cost.

Video Frequency Distribution Unit

The VFD-1010 is a high fidelity, high speed, wide bandwidth Video Frequency Distribution Unit designed to provide multiple buffered signal outputs from a single input. Applications typically include the distribution of a single receiver video output to various signal processing and analysing equipment, video pre-amplification or connection of a single video camera output to multiple high resolution CRT monitors. The emphasis of the design is on providing high signal fidelity at moderate cost.

FOD-1030/XXX

Fibre Optic Data Link

The FOD-1030 Point-to-Point Fibre Optic Data Link offers a complete solution to reliable point-to-point data communications regardless of data format. The link is capable of communicating both unipolar and bipolar encoded data signals at up to 155M.bits/sec over long distances thanks to the use of a novel wide bandwidth biased analogue fibre interface developed specially for Communications Supply & Support.

FOL-1033/XXX

Fibre Optic Link

Extending its capabilities in fibre-optic transmission of IF signals up to 1GHz and HDB3-coded telecommunications signals, Communications Supply & Support is able to offer complete solutions for microwave links up to 18GHz. Our systems find applications in the remoting of microwave antennas for satellite earth stations and mobile communications sites, radar system calibration, phased array antenna systems and frequency distribution systems.

PMA-1050/XXX

Programmable Microwave Attenuator

The PMA-1050 Programmable Microwave Attenuator offers a convenient, compact solution to all remote signal level control requirements, and is equally suited to A.T.E. or system integration applications. The standard unit comprises a low profile 1U high 19” rack mount enclosure with a power switch on the front panel and all connections on the rear. The unit is available with frequency ranges to 40GHz with  attenuation up to 120 dB in 10dB or 1dB steps.

PMA-1055/XXX

Programmable Microwave Attenuator

The PMA-1055 is an ultra-compact, remote controlled, Programmable Microwave Attenuator unit designed specifically for system integration applications and offers a convenient, rugged solution to all remote signal level control requirements. The form factor makes it ideal for mounting close to an antenna feed or radio front end. The unit is available in frequency ranges to 40GHz with attenuation up to 120 dB in 10dB or 1dB steps.

IFC-1090/XXX

Intermediate Frequency Converter

The IFC-1090 IF Converter Unit is designed to provide a simple cost-effective solution to the problem of combining and interfacing equipment in RF and microwave receiver systems which have different IF output frequencies. This allows the system engineer greater freedom when selecting equipment from different manufacturers, and also facilitates the re-deployment of equipment purchased for one system into other systems, reducing redundancy and idle time of expensive capital goods.These high-specification units are based on a dual conversion architecture using double-balanced mixers, which allows for a non-inverted spectrum, high image rejection and high LO isolation.

TSD-2010/XXX

Telecom Signal Distribution Unit

The TSD-2010 Telecom Signal Distribution Unit is designed to provide multiple buffered signal outputs from a single input. Applications might typically include the distribution of a single demodulator output to various signal processing and analysing equipment or demultiplexers. The use of our active splitter technology means the unit is capable of handling most common bipolar coded data signals from below 1k.bits/s up to 155M.bits/s.

DRU-2062/XXX

Digital Repeater Unit

The DRU-2062 Digital Repeater Unit is designed to provide a simple means for extending E1 or T1 links. The unit utilises a 2 input (TX/RX), 2 output (RX/TX) repeater module which support AMI/HDB3 line coding for E1, or AMI/B8ZS for T1. The fully integrated transceivers can fully restore received signals after as much as 36dB (T1) or 43dB (E1) of cable loss before retransmission, equivalent to approximately 2km. Furthermore, the E1/T1 interface complies with all major international standards and recommendations.

MTS-2070/XXX

Millimetric Test System

The MTS‑2070 Millimetric Test Sources are designed to provide a stable, calibrated CW signal in the K, L or M band for accurate testing of millimetric receiving systems in the field. The source module comprises a microwave DRO source phase-locked to a stable crystal reference oscillator, a frequency multiplier to achieve the desired, customer-specified frequency, a band-pass filter, direct-reading 60dB adjustable attenuator and horn antenna. The tripod-mounting unit is powered from a rechargeable external battery pack (charger included) providing extended remote operation. Output power is -20dB to -80dB, or lower with an optional fixed attenuator added.

CDU-2090/XXX

Cable Driver Unit

The CDU-2090 Cable Driver Unit is designed to provide receiver systems with the interfacing necessary to drive long coaxial cable runs. Applications might typically include the onward transmission of received signals to downstream processing equipment or a remote operator location. The unit can be configured to provide the required amplification and equalisation to compensate for the loss and frequency dependent characteristics of the particular cable being utilised in fixed installations. Any band in the IF, RF or microwave ranges can be adapted for a specified gain and flat response
