CSS has developed a wide range of equipment over many years, specialising in one-offs or low volume bespoke equipment for specific customers or installations. Here we list those which are current models available to order. For further information and a quote, just get in touch via our Contact page, or give us a call.

General Purpose MMIC Amplifier

The GPA-0001/XXX Series consists of a generic configuration amplifier module designed to take full advantage of the wide range of 50Ω MMIC gain blocks available from numerous manufacturers. Able to accept a variety of x-pack devices and having integral input and output π-attenuators and voltage dropper resistor, the amplifiers can be made to suit virtually any application up to 1.25GHz. A large selection of standard units can be supplied, or send us your requirement if we don’t list what you need.

The GPA-0001 is also available in kit form which includes CNC machined aluminium enclosure with mounting holes, cover, SMA connectors, feedthru filter and all assembly hardware. Just populate the PCB to your own requirements!

Integrated Receiver System 2MHz-12.4GHz

A rack mounting SDR based on the DRS Signal Solutions SI-8649A Picoceptor SDR and SI-9249/FE12 Frequency Extender.

Integrated Antenna System - Quasi-Omni

A rugged, lightweight quasi-omni-directional integrated antenna system for fixed installation applications, particularly suited to rooftop installation. The quasi-omni gain characteristics is nominally omni-directional in the azimuth (horizontal) plane with maximum gain in the horizontal plain (o degrees elevation, making it ideal for search/monitoring applications.

The lightweight aluminium construction utilises a tubular central column which can house a low noise amplifier and filtering immediately below the antenna for optimum performance and well protected from the environment. The antenna and electronics are protected by a custom radome tuned

Integrated Antenna System - for Manual DF Applications

A rugged, transportable Integrated Antenna Assembly for our manual DF system, featuring a high-gain parabolic antenna, interchangeable feed for frequency bands up to 18GHz, active GPS antenna and electronic compass/tilt sensor mounted on a stable, medium duty tripod. The system is supplied in two rugged transit cases and can be supplied with our Portable RF Survey system and bespoke DF-X software GUI.
