Our software applications are developed using National Instruments LabWindows™/CVI™ for Windows™ or Linux platforms. Every software package we create is unique and tailored to the specific customer's requirements.

CSS has the experience and capability to integrate all products into a new or existing software Graphical User Interface (GUI) systems and has provided systems to UK and European Governments, UK Royal Air Force (RAF) and UK Royal Navy (RN) including communication system control and BITE, satellite tracking, autonomous signal search and collection systems, and automated diagnostic/test software for service bay use.


We have developed a range of micro-controller boards and modules programmed to add functionality retrospectively to legacy equipment including the addition of Ethernet control to non-network-enabled equipment, implementation of SNMP, extending internal hardware control/monitoring and adding sounders/alarms to motion control equipment.


We have developed embedded firmware for such diverse applications as battery charger systems, competition slot timers, inclinometers for industrial stair climbers, data logging systems and vehicle tracking systems.


In particular, we have extensive experience with a specialised micro-controller utilised in many of our proprietary products. This full-featured 32-bit device includes Ethernet connectivity, 4x serial UARTS, GPIO, RTC, LCD and keypad interfaces and optional WiFi and GPRS wireless connectivity making it particularly suitable for Internet-of-Things (IoT) applications, and we welcome enquiries to develop solutions or IP for this rapidly growing market.

We are also able to provide custom database solutions using Microsoft® Access®. In addition to our internal use, we have provided databases to customers working in the fields of medical healthcare, crane service and maintenance and the Christian Church community.
